Week 7

I think this is a pretty cool looking photo that's why I added it at the end. My hubby has been struggling with the flash when taking photos.
Baby size: .51 inches

Baby weight: less than a gram

Fruit equivalent: a blueberry

What’s growing this month:

  • hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs, even though they look like paddles
  • mouth and tongue are forming
  • both hemispheres of baby's brain is growing
  • umbilical cord is now visible

How far along: 7 weeks, 0 days
Total weight gain: nothing
Sleep: I've been sleeping good lately. After sleeping 10 hours last night, I took a 3 hour nap.
Best moment of this week: Keisha showed me her first ultrasound and I told her that her baby looks like a rabbit :)
Miss anything: Not getting queasy after eating everything
Food cravings: The past two nights I've had a turkey sandwich, with melted provolone cheese on a toasted sub with lettuce, pickles, onions, mustard and mayo. OMG it's been so delicious.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Everytime I eat for the past two days, I've been feeling queasy. Luckily, I haven't vomited but I sure feel a knot in my chest after eating. My hubby was eating bar-b-que chips and I was like OMG WHAT ARE YOU EATING? GET AWAY FROM ME. It smelled disgusting!
Have you started to show yet: nope
Gender: Hubby is convinced that baby is a girl and I'm convinced that baby is a boy. I think I will be a mother of boys and if I'm fortunate maybe my 4th or 5th child will be a girl. But hubby is convinced baby is a girl so that she can marry the Seals' son.
Happy or moody most of the time: I think I'm pretty normal. I've cried a few times but I am a crybaby anyhow lol
Looking forward to: 8 more days until I get to see our baby and hear baby's heartbeat.
