Week 23....sorry for the 4 week hiatus

Baby weight: more than 1 lb
Fruit equivalent: a pomegranate
What’s growing this month:

·         His sense of movement is well developed and he can feels me dancing

·         Blood vessels in his lungs are preparing him to breathe

·         Baby is continuing to gain weight

 
­­­How far along: 23 weeks
Total weight gain: 14 lbs…I had my 24 week apt today and I’ve gained 7 (almost 8 lbs) since my last visit 4 weeks ago…well the doc said she wasn’t worried at all because the baby has done tremendous growth these past few weeks…and I’ve also confided in her that I’ve turned to food as my comfort since I’ve been restricted to do some other things lol
Maternity clothes: Yes, I wear them but some of them are still a little baggy lol
Stretch marks: The usual
Sleep: It’s been uncomfortable at night finding a good position because my back hurts…also June Bug doesn’t like when I sleep on my right side…he beats the mess out of my side if I lie on that side…so I’m only restricted to sleeping on my left side and my back partially
Best moment of this week: It was so funny! Hubby was talking to the baby and he kept saying “June Bug”. Baby was respoinding and moving like crazy. And then Hubby said, “Christian”. And baby literally stopped moving. Hubby and I laughed so hard and joked that the baby didn’t know his name
Movement: LOTS OF MOVEMENT! I find it amusing that baby prefers my right side. HE loves it over there. Hubby and I were watching a movie and hubby had his head on my stomach, and June Bug went crazy beating him in his head. As soon as Chris moved his head, the baby stopped moving. TOO FUNNY!
Food cravings: SWEETS!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. I’ve been feeling so good these past few weeks.
Have you started to show yet: Not as much as I would like to show lol. I still don’t think I’m very noticeable to a stranger.
Gender: BOY! Mommy’s having a baby boy and I’m sooooo excited. Watch the video in the previous post to see how we found out.
Labor signs: Nope
Belly button in or out: Still in
Wedding rings on or off: Still on
Happy or moody most of the time: This week I’ve been pretty emotional! I think I’ve cried every single day…I told my husband that he lost his “husbandness” (as I was crying) because he made me the wrong slurpee lol.
Looking forward to: 4 more weeks to hurry and pass. For some of you, you know exactly why lol. But I also get to get an ultrasound that I’m very excited about.
Anything else: Yea, sorry about the long hiatus I’ve taken. We moved and I never really gotten back into the hang of things…
