So we don't have any children...and I'm not pregnant yet but one day if the Lord says the same, I will like to have 5-6 children. People think I'm insane when I tell them but I guess I'm a little old-fashioned in a kind of way. I'm pursuing my Masters in Elementary Education and last year around this time I knew for sure that I wanted to be a physician.
But my mind was definitely changed when I realized that I wasn't willing to make sacrifices concerning my family over my career. So a teacher definitely fits me...lets see for starters, I absolutely love and adore children and I love teaching. Well as for the hubby and I, we'll be celebrating 3 years of marriage in exactly 11 days.
Let's see, we didn't have the typical weddings..nope, instead...we got married in my pastor's office. I was wearing a light pink sweater and a brown and pink skirt and my hubby was wearing a black shirt and black pants and he hadn't shaved in months. We got married on a Tuesday and the hubby had to go back to work the next day. It's funny when I look back on it but I don't regret one moment of it. I married my best friend and he's the best husband a girl could ever dream of.
One thing I despised when we first got married was that we were young and we didn't really know anyone our age who was married. And everytime I told people I was married, I received the same response, "OH MY! You are so young". (Btw, the hubby was 20 and I was 22). Well 3 years later, I still receive the same response but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I look much younger than 25. *Side note* On my 25th birthday, a lady said, so how old are you turning, 16? The hubby and I thought that was hilarious. Yeah, it's funny because people assume my husband is much older than what he is and they think the opposite for me....
Well the whole purpose of me writing all that was to just say that now that we are at our 3 year mark, we have been talking about getting professional pictures taking in our wedding attire. Well wedding attire that we will soon have to purchase of course. My husband mentioned it years ago that we should take pictures, but I was adamant about waiting until we had our vow renewal. But now that I'm considering having children in the near future and now that I know my body may make some changes that will never go the same, I'm ready to take some wedding pictures. So I have an appointment at David's Bridal to try on dresses this Thursday. I'm very excited! I'm hoping that we will take pictures by January at the latest. I kind of want to bypass the holiday rush. But we shall see...
