Rewind: On Thursday I bought a black dress, red pumps, red lipstick, red nail polish and red earrings- hubby's favorite color. So Friday night, after church I stayed up to do my hair.
So I woke up at 8am and showered, and put my make-up on. I was kind of mad at myself that I didn't practice putting the red lipstick on the day before because I had no idea what I was doing (I don't wear make-up. But since I've been mistaken as 15 year-olds so much lately, I'm definitely wearing it in hopes that it makes me look much older).
*Side note* I walked into a clothing store the other day and the sales associate said to me, "Are you looking for your mom?" I laughed and said no, I'm 25 years old.
Well hubby thought I looked very nice so I felt pretty good about myself. We were like 20 minutes late to our appointment but they were generous to squeeze us in.
During our photo session I felt ridiculously awkward because I was wearing this tight short dress while it was freezing outside with tall pumps on that made me a few inches taller than the hubby. In hindsight, it's pretty hilarious. Needles to say, I was very happy when it was all over and done and I was able to go home and change. The customer service actually sucked and we vowed that we will not go there ever again, well except for next week only bc my grandma wants all of her grandkids to take pictures with her and the appointment is already made. But after that, we will not be returning. They do not do any kind of touching up on the photos and for the money we paid, they could have at least cut the pictures for us...-hubby said.
Chris: No
Well the cooking time was no longer than 90 seconds for the meats. It actually wasn't that bad at all. It was so much fun and we will definitely be returning.
Next week, we plan to attend Kirk Cameron's Marriage Tour "Love Worth Fighting For" on Friday or Saturday night, and on Sunday we plan to take a cruise around Norfolk area while we dine. We also have a hotel for Norfolk since we both have a 3 day weekend.
Chris: You don't realize the freedom you have yet without having kids.
Teeka: That's funny you mentioned that because I was thinking who would be babysitting our kids if we had any right now
Yea, I must admit, being a couple with no kids definitely has its advantages. We can do what we want to do when we want to do it. It's definitely fun and I don't regret our decision to wait a few years and enjoy marriage before we let kids enter into our lives.
